turns out our flight from Charlotte was late for 2 hours, we had to shrink our time in Paris to under 5 hours, with dragging our hand-carrys all along plus waiting for the RER train to go into the city, we used more than 1.5 hour to commute, at the end of the day we only got to spent one hour at St Michel by Notre Dame.
I didn't even have time to find a gourmet market to get some cheese or foie gras to indulge myself, let alone a birthday cake from a finest pastry......
It was stressful but fun, we met this guy on RER and he directed us all the way through since we got caught talking with him at the train station terminal. He is from California spending a holiday at Paris with his girlfriend but her flight got delayed at Houston so she missed her connecting flight to Paris, he had to stay in the hotel to wait for her.
Vic couldn't help himself but drewing at the window of a french pastry store around the corner of Notre Dame, I have proof!!! attached photos.
